More about "Let's Play"

Let’s Play is a project in association with the Rick Hansen Foundation. The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society is responsible for managing the initiative. The program has 3 key objectives:

1. Match kids 8 and under with sport wheelchairs that they can use in their communities to become more physically active.

2. Identify and improve accessibility at a facility in each of those communities to ensure there is a place to use those chairs.

3. Develop best practices for facilitators (coaches, teachers, recreation programmers, etc.) to deliver inclusive physical activity opportunities.
