Retired UBC Registrar Brian Silzer will be receiving a National Inclusive Education award from the Canadian Association for Community Living and the British Columbia Association for Community Living. Minister Peter McKay tabled the CRPD on December 3, 2009, indicating his government’s intention to move toward formal ratification of the CRPD.

According to the report, the overwhelming majority of Canadians with developmental disabilities experience poverty, unemployment and exclusion.
