Thompson Community Services offers highly individualized, solution-focused services for individuals and families.

We know that over time, each individual's needs change and so offer the planning and choices required to adapt to those changes.

We believe that choices and flexibility are important for all of us - and providing those options are part of providing care with dignity and respect

Thompson Community Services is funded by Community Living British Columbia

At TCS our beliefs guide every aspect of our operations. We believe that:

  • Lasting solutions are found in communities
  • Services must be focussed on each individual's skills and assets
  • Individualized plans must be adaptable to changing needs
  • People who will be affected by a decision should have a part in creating the decision
  • Families and communities can learn ways to nurture and care for their members
  • Cultural differences must be accepted and appreciated
  • Programs must be accountable and offer achievable results
