Shuswap Association for Community Living provides a number of services promoting Community Inclusion. 

  • Community Employment Services partners with local businesses to help individuals to find and keep jobs that match their interests and skills.  Employers receive ongoing support to ensure the success of their new employee.
  • Health, Wellness & Life Skills runs Monday to Friday during the day. The goal of this service is to increase skill development through participation through community oriented activities such as socializing, making choices, making purchases, learning the transit system and developing friendships
  • Community Inclusion services provide support in the areas of community access, life skills, leisure, volunteering and employment. Individualized Community Inclusion Services provide support to persons with complex support requirements and is available through the person's home or within the community. The Personalized Support Initiative supports persons diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol/Autism Spectrum Disorder with the focus of assisting them to develop and maintain their independence through support on daily living skills, building community connections and employment.
  • Supported Living Services are various supports designed to meet the needs of the individual living who is already living on their own or has that goal.
