The Age of Empathy, The Exile of Exclusion

Is Autism an "empathy disorder," as Simon Baron-Cohen says? And if, as many today claim, empathy is fundamental to human identity, then where does this leave people identified as autistic? During this talk, Dr, McDonagh will dissect the autism / empathy dichotomy while exploring the parallel histories of these concepts.
