International Experience in Serving Job Seekers with Disabilities - Information Session

Summary:
The Ministry of Social Development's Employment and Labour Market Services Division is proposing dramatic changes to their employment services in a Business Transformation project that will mean one-stop employment service centres for all British Columbians.

This will have significant impact on job seekers with developmental disabilities. Douglas College is offering a morning with Joe Marrone a Senior Program Manager with the Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) in Massachusetts, on December 2, 2010.

BCACL encourages our members and community partners to join these discussions to find out how the new employment service centers may impact people with developmental disabilities looking for employment.
