...to the conference participants, the presenters, the many volunteers and sponsors for making our 2013 Conference, WE are Community: Defining Inclusion, such a great experience for all involved. We are already looking forward to seeing you next year in Nanaimo, from June 11 - 14!

We also want to extend a special thanks to our conference co-hosts, Spectrum Society for Community Living, posAbilities and the BC Centre for Ability for their hard work developing sessions, planning, hosting and recruiting volunteers and sponsors.

Resolutions Passed

2013 Inclusive Education Awards

The Canadian Association for Community Living (CACL) and Inclusion BC awarded two educators with an inclusive education award at our conference on Saturday, May 25. Victoria Education Assistant Margaret Dow and Maple Ridge Band Teacher Ed Dumas were recognized for their work in including students with special needs in the classroom.
