Inclusion BC submission to Disability White Paper process

Inclusion BC submitted a paper with a number of recommendations to the Province's Disability White Paper Consultation.

Our submission is based on the priorities, values and vision of the community inclusion movement, and was put forward with a goal of keeping the priorities of people with developmental disabilities, their families and their communities in clear view of the consultation process. The province's consultation aims to examine how BC can become the most progressive jurisdiction in Canada for people with disabilities.

Inclusion BC's submission takes a rights-based approach, based on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ratified by Canada in 2010.
