When you make a donation to your local Clothes Drop bin, you are directly helping people in your community. Quite simply, we turn your donations into the money that supports Inclusion BC programs.

Donation Bin Program for Members

Listen with ReadSpeaker

When you make a donation to your local Clothes Drop bin, you are directly helping people in your community. We turn your clothing donations into money that supports the work of Inclusion BC and our members. Our members are amazing organizations that work with community partners to deliver a wide range of supports for people with intellectual disabilities and their families including early intervention for infants and toddlers, family supports, housing and employment, recreation and community inclusion.

While Inclusion BC is the Clothes Drop hub, our members run their enterprises and profit from the donations that are collected in their neighborhoods. When donations are picked up from a Clothes Drop bin, Inclusion BC members sell them to stores with profits going toward local programs and services for children, youth and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Host a bin on your property

Offer a service with social impact! Its never been easier to help out the neighbourhood where you operate. By hosting a bin, you are investing in social and environmental sustainability, impacting the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and making your community a better places to live for everyone.

We keep the bins clean, and respond quickly to pick up or clean up requests. Bins are locked to prevent tampering and are emptied at least once a week, eliminating any overflow of donations onto your property. There is no cost for the placement or management of the bins. We accept full responsability for the financial maintenance of the bins with our members carrying liabilities and risk insurance for the bin.

Our plans include:

  • Ongoing media relations’ activities with provincial and regional media outlets.
  • An integrated digital campaign that includes online marketing and social media campaigns that you will be able to link to.
  • We will be developing large-scale corporate partnerships and promotions that will create awareness and support for donations across BC.
  • We will seek direct engagement and speaking opportunities to service clubs and business organizations to encourage sponsorship and support of the program.
