Anne-Marie Lafleur

Anne-Marie is a retired adjudicator and mother of three children. Her 32 year old son, Brian, lives with the challenges of autism, Tourettes syndrome and obsessive compulsive disorder.

She has served on provincial boards such as Theatre BC, Family Support Institute of BC and the BC Council of Administrative Tribunals. Locally, Anne-Marie was the mother everyone called on – whether it was for a hotdog day at the school, scorekeeper at a karate tournament or driving for a bottle drive for the sea cadets.

More recently, she served for six years on the Board of Directors of the Parksville and District Association for Community Living (now Inclusion Parksville). During her tenure she had two executive positions and served on committees such as Fundraising, Self Advocacy and Policy and Procedures.
