When Inclusion BC recently celebrated our 60th Anniversary, we remembered those fearless families who in 1955, with one simple decision, created a tidal wave of change. They took their children with developmental disabilities home rather than have them placed in an institution.

Today we are building on families’ successes and courage in the face of immense barriers. The partnerships we build are helping us to realize our vision of welcoming inclusive communities where children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and their families can live full and contributing lives.
